So I’m going to do my best to recap everything that happened during the Microsoft Press Conference, even though I sadly wasn’t able to take decent quality screenshots. Sorry about that.
The show kicked off with a trailer for Halo 4:
So, holy shit right?! What a great way to kick off the conference. The live-trailer portion is amazing, while the trailer is mind-blowing. Plus Cortana flips the shit out, and who doesn’t love that!
Splinter Cell: Blacklist
From there we move onto a new Splinter Cell. The game looks like classic, but modern Splinter Cell all wrapped into one. Sadly it appears that Michael Ironside will not be reprising the role of Sam Fisher, but hey we get to shoot people in rhythmic Assassin’s Creed like slow-motion. Plus you can now whisper on Kinect and lure guards to locations for stealthy kills. Ships Spring 2013.
Fable: The Journey
I’m so fucking excited for this game, but they showed absolutely nothing here to re-interest me, so I guess we wait til the end of the year now for the game’s launch.
Gears of War: Judgement
The next game in the Gears of War series featured its first trailer during the Microsoft press conference. The game looks nice and sexy.
